Refund, Return & Replacement Policy – BST / BST Trend

At BST Enterprises (also referred to as BST or BST Trend), we deal in curated fashion products, including limited-quantity, branded, and pre-owned items, so all purchases are governed by the policy below. By placing an order on our website, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

1. General Policy

  • We strive to deliver every order exactly as displayed and described on our website.

  • Because our catalog includes curated, limited-stock, and pre-owned fashion items, returns, exchanges, and refunds are not offered for change of mind or preference-based reasons.

  • A refund, return, or replacement will be considered only where the delivered product is:

    • materially defective,

    • damaged in transit, or

    • clearly different from the item actually ordered.

All such requests are subject to review and approval by BST / BST Trend.

2. Return Request Window

  • If you receive a wrong, damaged, or defective product, you must inform BST / BST Trend within 2 calendar days (48 hours) of the delivery date.

  • Any complaint raised after 48 hours of confirmed delivery may be treated as expired and may not qualify for return, replacement, or refund.

  • This time limit is important because fashion products can be used, altered, or damaged after delivery, making it difficult to verify the issue.

3. Valid Reasons for Return Review

Your return request will be taken up for review only if it falls under at least one of the following:

  • You received the wrong product as compared to your order confirmation.

  • You received a product with a major defect that was not disclosed at the time of sale.

  • You received an item that was physically damaged during shipping.

  • The delivered product is materially different from what was confirmed in your order (style, design, or key features).

Submitting a request does not automatically mean the return is approved; all claims are subject to verification and final approval by BST / BST Trend in line with our internal checks and applicable consumer protection norms.

4. Information and Proof Required from Customer

To review any claim, you must provide all of the following:

  • Order number

  • Full name and contact details

  • Clear photos of the outer package (including shipping label)

  • Clear photos of the product received

  • Clear photos/videos clearly showing the defect, damage, or mismatch

  • Unboxing video, if available

  • Confirmation that the complaint is being raised within 2 days of delivery

BST / BST Trend reserves the right to reject claims that are incomplete, unclear, edited/altered, or appear suspicious or inconsistent with the evidence provided.

5. Product Condition for Return Eligibility

If BST / BST Trend approves a return for review, the item must strictly be:

  • Unused and unworn

  • Unwashed and unaltered

  • Free from perfume, deodorant, makeup marks, stains, or body odour

  • Returned with all original tags, labels, packaging, boxes, and accessories (if any)

Any item that shows signs of use, washing, ironing, damage, or misuse after delivery may be rejected and sent back to the customer.

6. When Return, Replacement or Refund Will Not Be Accepted

To prevent misuse of our policies, BST / BST Trend does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds in the following situations:

  • You do not like the color, finish, texture, or feel of the product.

  • There is a minor color variation due to lighting, photography, editing, or display settings of your phone/computer screen.

  • You changed your mind after purchase or no longer need the item.

  • The product does not suit your personal style, preference, or occasion, even though it matches the description.

  • You ordered the wrong size, color, or variant.

  • The item fits differently than expected, but the measurements and size details match what was stated.

  • You feel the item looks different in person, but there is no material difference from the product images and description.

  • The item was purchased during a sale, clearance, liquidation, promotional offer, or marked “Final Sale / Non-Returnable” on the product page.

  • The product shows normal characteristics of fabric, texture, finish, or handcrafted/curated variation that are not defects.

  • The return or issue is reported after 2 days of delivery.

For clarity, color mismatch, slight tone variation, and expectation mismatch are not valid reasons for refund or replacement.

7. Pre‑Owned / Curated Items – Important Disclaimer

  • Some products listed by BST / BST Trend may be pre-owned, resale, vintage, thrifted, or curated from third-party collections.

  • By purchasing such items, you understand and accept that minor signs of prior use or age that are consistent with the nature of these products may be present unless clearly stated otherwise.

  • Such characteristics do not automatically qualify as defects.

  • We make reasonable efforts to present every product accurately with photos and descriptions, but customers are expected to read the details carefully and understand the nature of curated and limited-stock fashion goods before purchasing.

8. Review and Approval Process

Once BST / BST Trend receives your complaint, we will follow an internal review process:

  • We may ask you for additional pictures or videos for clearer verification.

  • We may ask you to share packaging evidence, including labels and protective material.

  • We may ask you to return the product to us for physical inspection.

  • We may reject the request if the claim does not meet our policy criteria or if the product condition is inconsistent with the complaint.

The final decision on whether a claim qualifies for replacement, store credit, partial refund, full refund, or rejection will rest solely with BST / BST Trend after review and inspection, in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Return Shipping

If your return is approved:

  • BST / BST Trend will inform you of return instructions, including address and shipping mode.

  • Depending on the case, we may arrange a pickup or request you to ship the item back to us.

  • Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing:

    • You may be required to bear the return shipping charges initially.

    • Shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, and handling fees are generally non-refundable.

If the return is rejected after inspection, the item may be shipped back to you at your cost.

10. Refund & Replacement Method

If BST / BST Trend approves a remedy, it may be provided in one of the following forms (as applicable to the specific case):

  • Replacement of the same product, if stock is available

  • Store credit / coupon usable on future purchases

  • Exchange for another item of similar value (where possible)

  • Refund to the original payment method (subject to payment gateway and banking rules)

BST / BST Trend reserves the right to choose the most appropriate remedy based on product availability, order value, condition of the returned item, and the nature of the complaint, while keeping consumer protection norms in view.

11. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Once the returned item is received, inspected, and approved, an eligible refund (if any) is generally processed within 3 to 14 working days.

  • Actual credit to your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, wallet provider, payment gateway, and any cross-border processing, all of which are outside the control of BST / BST Trend.

12. Non‑Refundable Charges

The following charges are usually non‑refundable, unless otherwise communicated in writing by BST / BST Trend:

  • Original shipping fees

  • Express or priority delivery charges

  • Customs duties, import or clearance charges

  • Payment gateway or transaction fees

  • Special packaging, gift wrapping, or handling charges

  • Return shipping costs

These conditions are in line with common e‑commerce practices and Indian consumer law requirements for clear disclosure of refund and cancellation terms.

13. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders once placed may not always be cancellable, especially if they have already been processed, packed, or dispatched.

  • BST / BST Trend reserves the right to deny cancellation requests after order processing has started.

  • If a cancellation is exceptionally approved before dispatch, any payment gateway or transaction charges may still be deducted from the refund as per the terms of the payment provider.

14. Fraudulent or Abusive Claims

BST / BST Trend reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, exchanges, or future service in cases including but not limited to:

  • Repeated suspicious or inconsistent complaints

  • False or exaggerated claims

  • Swapped products or different items returned in place of the original

  • Used items returned as “unused”

  • Missing tags, labels, or original packaging

  • Chargeback misuse or abuse of payment disputes

  • Any attempt to manipulate or misuse this policy

We may also restrict or block accounts that are found to repeatedly misuse return and refund provisions in violation of fair‑use principles.
